As the snow begins to melt in the last pockets of our yards here in Southern Ontario, it’s time to make sure your automatic sprinkler system is ready for another season of efficient lawn and garden watering.

Give Apollo a call to do your irrigation system spring start-up and you’ll have a successful summer saving water, money and keeping that landscape lush and attractive all summer long.

APOLLO GETS THE WARM WATERING SEASON STARTED WITH

Cleaning all around your watering heads.
Repressurize the system.
Setting heads to run optimally by adjusting angle or direction.
Set timer to run optimally, adjusting for any new city watering by-laws.
Repair any damage or leaks that may have occurred over last season or during the winter.
Check controller and programs and replace backup batteries if necessary.
Check for leaks in valves that may contribute to water waste.

TURNING YOUR SYSTEM BACK ON

Once Apollo has done an inspection of all the parts to ensure no wintertime cracking has occurred, they will slowly ease the pressure back into the system and ensure the pipes fill in a gradual and controlled manner. Finally a pressure check is done to ensure the anticipated coverage will still be achieved and that the spray heads are not under or overshooting their anticipated range. We undertake startups starting April 15th each year.
